Before you sit down to your Thanksgiving feast this year, work off some pre-dinner calories for a great cause as part of the 22nd Annual CEA/Johanna Foods Turkey Trot.
One of the largest 5K runs in New Jersey, this annual Hunterdon County event benefits the Center for Educational Advancement (CEA), a non-profit organization with the mission to educate, empower, and employ individuals with special needs.
Over 6,000 runners will converge on Main Street in Flemington to participate in this year’s Thanksgiving Day event on Thursday, November 26, 2015. There is a USATF sanctioned 5K Run, which begins at 9:30 a.m. as well as a 2K Fitness Walk for families, which starts at 9:15 a.m. Plus, an Expo providing running numbers to racers as well as souvenir event T-shirts will be held at CEA/Spring Run School at 11 Minneakoning Road, Flemington, NJ on Saturday November 21, 2015.
