On December 22, 2015, locals rejoiced as the 300 year old Sergeantsville Inn reopened its doors after a devastating fire destroyed much of the building in March.

Locals rallied around the longtime popular eatery, raising almost $20,000 via a GoFundMe page to help the Inn rebuild.
The Inn freshened up the space with a few renovations during the reconstruction, although careful to retain the period of the original building. The owners shared their gratitude via Facebook after a successful grand re-opening:
