RED MILL MUSEUM VILLAGE

The Red Mill Museum Village is a historic museum complex located in what has colonially been known as Clinton, which is a part of the Lenapehoking, the traditional territory of the Lenni-Lenape people and their ancestors who lived here for thousands of years before the arrival of Europeans. The centerpiece of the museum is the 1810 Red Mill. The museum includes the mill, a quarry complete with office and stone crusher and sorter, a schoolhouse, log cabin and operational blacksmith shop.

THE BOUMAN-STICKNEY FARMSTEAD

509 Route 523, Whitehouse Station, NJ

The Bouman-Stickney Farmstead is named for its former owners. The property was originally purchased sometime before 1740. Located on the farmstead is a double corn crib wagon house built in the 1820s which sits in the northeast corner of the property. It was originally used to store wagons and grain, today it holds the Museums’ collection of early farm tools.

The Columbia Trail is a 16.5-mile, flat, multi-use, linear trail with natural and stone dust tread that traverses western Morris County and wanders into a beautiful section of Hunterdon County. It’s a great place to immerse yourself in nature and fitness. The trail is suitable for all ages and levels.

Lambertville, NJ

Goat Hill Overlook is an easy hike to a stunning view over the Delaware River to both Lambertville, NJ and New Hope PA. There are a few different trail options from 1 mile to 2.4 miles.
