The North Pole Express LIMITED
When: Saturday and Sunday, November 16 and November 17
Where: Ringoes Station, 108 John Ringo Road, Ringoes
New this year! This is a slightly more low-key version of Black River Railroad’s popular North Pole Express. It includes all the features you love, but without the elves. It’s all about Santa! Jersey’s Hidden Retail Trail
When: Now through Sunday, November 24
Where: Select shops throughout Hunterdon County
Calling all shoppers! Go on an adventure and experience local hidden gems! For just $10 a ticket, you can follow a secret map at your own pace on a two-week self-guided trail. Experience and support small “mom and pop” businesses that you might not have known about. Collect free or discounted surprises, goods and treats from each stop. Shop, sip snack and explore what unique, local businesses have to offer. At every stop you make along the trail, you’ll be able to enter into a grand prize raffle what will be drawn after the two-week trail ends. Find out more here.
Frosty and Rudolph at Music Mountain Theatre
When: Saturday, November 16 with shows at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Where: 1483 Route 179, Lambertville
Get in the holiday spirit with this kid-friendly show that’s a jolly new take on traditional holiday stories. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased here.
Flemington Opa Festival Holiday Eat and Shop
When: Saturday and Sunday, November 16 and 17 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: St. Anna Greek Orthodox Church, 85 Voorhees Corner Road, Flemington
Enjoy two days of delicious Greek cuisine and shopping! Feast on Greek favorites while shopping crafts and vendors. Free admission. Children’s coloring table.
Hike and Yoga
When: Sunday, November 17 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Where: Musconetcong Gorge Preserve, 182 Dennis Road, Bloomsbury
Join instructor Lisa Perry and reconnect to the beauty of nature and to your own inner peace during this exploration of Hunterdon County parks. The silent hike includes pauses for yoga positions along the way. Beginners are welcome. Bring a towel or mat to sit on. Once you have found your Zen, you may want to continue exploring the park further on your own. Pre-registration is required. This guided hike is $16 per person and is for those 13 years old and up.
