The Sourland Music Festival is famous for its local music, stunning sunset view and fun family activities. Recently, the festival has developed a new following: foodies. This year’s event will offer a wide range of food and beverage options to truly celebrate the bounty of the region – including a mini farmers market.
The Ryland Inn’s award-winning team featuring Executive Chef, Chris Albrecht, has created delectable farm-to-table appetizers, entrees and desserts for the VIP tent. Area vendors will delight Festival guests with specialties to please every palate: Brick Farm Market’s pulled pork, Tower Dogs piled high with homemade toppings, Basil Bandwagon vegetarian dishes, Dellano’s Festival Food trailer, Maddalena’s Cheesecake on a stick and Ama’s Italian gelato.
Several refreshing beverages will be on tap in the adult beverage tent. Sourland Mountain Spirits, New Jersey’s first farm distillery since prohibition, will serve cocktails featuring their handcrafted, small-batch vodka and gin. Flounder Brewing Company of Hillsborough will be returning with “Sourlands Rock’n Ale” the hoppy wheat blend created just for the Sourland Music Fest! Commemorative mason jar mugs will be on sale in the beverage tent. Receive a discount on beer refills when you use your refillable mug. Guests may also choose from a selection of award-winning wines by Unionville Vineyards of Ringoes.
There will be plenty of non-alcoholic refreshment as well: Brick Farm Market’s fresh and healthy juices, Basil Bandwagon’s fruit and vegetable smoothies, tea, lemonade, soda and more. Free water will be available all day – bring your refillable bottle or buy a reusable Music Fest mug!
For music lovers, of course, it’s all about the bands. This year’s music features a unique and powerful lineup of the region’s most vital and exciting artists ranging from pop and reggae to country rock and jamtronica. Young stars of the future to seasoned rockers, they know how to get a party going.
