Red Mill Village Festival of Trees

The Red Mill Museum Village, 56 Main Street, Clinton, NJ
This display of holiday trees magnificently decorated by dedicated community groups starts with Winter Village and continues through December. Come stroll the historic grounds while enjoying the festive décor on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10-6 through December 22nd. Prizes will be given in the following categories: Creative Geniusm, Best Representation of Theme, Spirit of Nature, Child’s Fantasy, Most Traditional and People’s Choice. Free for current Red Mill Museum Village members; others can purchase tickets at the door.

There’s no better way to embrace the holiday spirit than at Black River & Western Railroad.
Flemington Tree Lighting
December 6, 7 pm
Flemington Veterans Memorial, Main Street, Flemington, NJ
This year’s Christmas Tree lighting will take place on Friday, December 6. The activities begin at 7pm, when Flemington Cub Scout Pack 61 begins the actual tree lighting ceremony followed by Christmas Carols. After the tree lighting ceremony is completed, there will be a visit from Santa Claus himself, who arrives via a fire truck escort! Flemington Rotary donates the Candy Canes and Oranges that Santa Claus hands out to the kids that attend. The Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony is Flemington Rotary’s oldest service project, which began in December 1923.
