Ron O’Reilly will kick off the Hunterdon Land Trust Farmers’ Market Storytelling Series. Ron will visit the market on July 27 and Aug. 3.

Once upon a time, the Hunterdon Land Trust Farmers’ Market decided to host a Storytelling Series….

And now that series is scheduled to begin. Visit the Farmers’ Market on Sunday, July 27 when its free Storytelling Series kicks off with Ron O’Reilly of Stories Worth Repeating.

“The stories I share tell of the ‘Ha! Ha!’ and ‘Oh! Oh!’ moments of becoming human,” O’Reilly said. “The stories have lots of laughs, some wry smirks, fables of our foibles, and some tugs of the heartstrings of our loves and loyalties. These are stories that celebrate uniqueness of person and commonness of humanity with its wit and wisdom.”

O’Reilly will share stories with older audiences at 10:45 a.m. and stories with children at noon under the big tent at the Farmers’ Market. O’Reilly, who will return to the market on Aug. 3, is an East Amwell resident and a local personal historian who helps people document their life and times. • Nov. 2: Carol Simon Levin will tell Halloween stories from 10 a.m. to noon under the big tent at the Farmers’ Market. Levin has more than 20 years of experience as a children’s library telling stories and sharing songs with young audiences.
