More Than Q BBQ Co., a favorite long-time vendor at the Stockton Farmers’ market, will be opening a restaurant in Lambertville at 13 Klines Court in late summer 2016.
The same brisket, pulled pork, and pitt beef everyone has grown to love from the Stockton Farmers Market will now expand into its own retail location. Traditional wood smoked meats will be smoked on site with a new larger indoor Texas made smoker and freshly made sides such as five cheese mac n’ cheese, burnt end beans, and collard greens will be prepared daily. Catering and larger pick up orders also available.
Chef and Owner Matt Martin grew up in a household with 5 kids and a mother who somehow found time to cook inspired dishes that are still requested by her children, and now, grandchildren. That love of feeding family and friends inspired Matt to earn a culinary degree from Kendall College in Chicago. Upon graduating, Matt worked under a Food and Wine Magazine ‘Best New Chef’ in Michigan, before returning to Chicago and a five year stint in prepared foods management.
