If you are wondering what to do with the family to celebrate Easter fret no more!  Below is a guide to all of the Easter happenings in and around Hunterton this year.

Valley Crest Farm and Preserve Lithuanian Easter Egg Decorating workshop.

April 11th, 12th, and 19th, 14 Allerton Road, Lebanon, NJ 08833, 908-296-6085 or 908-238-9696, valleycrestevent@yahoo.com.  Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 12. Participants will learn an ancient European dying technique and go home with 6 decorated eggs!

Easter Bonnet Contest and Parade in Downtown Flemington

April 19th, Parade begins at 11:45 a.m., To register babies/toddlers; children; teens/adults; or pets arrive by 11 a.m.  For more information contact Bill DiTrilio at 908-237-1290 x0801 or to pre-register contact Marianne Romano at mromano@hvconline.com.  Two awards will be given, one to Best Person and one to Best pet.  You will be judged on most original bonnet, creativity, use of a theme, and best use of recycled material.

Terhune Orchards Annual Bunny Chase

April 19th and 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 330 Cold Soil Road, Princeton, NJ, 08540, 609-924-2310.  Free event perfect for young children.  Event includes an Easter themed treasure hunt, wagon and pony rides around the farm, farm food tent open to purchase homemade foods, and each child gets to make a bunny to take home and a Terhune Orchards bunny cookie!

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

April 12th from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Applebee’s 244 U.S. 202, Flemington, NJ 08822.  Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door and the proceeds go to benefit the Deadeyes 4-H club.  To order tickets; deadeye4hclub@gmail.com.  Ever child under 9 years old goes home with a goodie bag from the Easter Bunny himself!

Liberty Village Premium Outlets Annual Easter Egg Hunt

 (908) 782-8550.  Shop and take pictures with the Easter Bunny and kids can take home a bunny balloon!

Frenchtown Easter Egg Hunt

April 19th, Old Frenchtown Field 10 a.m.-11 a.m.  The event is free open to all and supported by the Frenchtown Lion’s Club.  Don’t miss this fun opportunity for the kids to meet the Easter Bunny this spring.

Egg Hunt and Wagon Parade

April 12th, Bundt Park Clinton NJ 10 a.m. Contact Denise Filardo at 908-735-5999 ext.  2 or dfilardo@clintonwpnj.com.  Cost is $5 per family and activities include a petting zoo, inflatable bounces, face painting, music and games, as well as the wagon parade/contest and Easter egg hunt.

Free Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt

Schaefer Farms Easter Egg Hunt

10th annual GREAT Egg Hunt and Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

April 13th 10 a.m. Clinton Elks Lodge 2434 Sidney Road (CR 617), Pittstown NJ, 908-735-8531.  Bring your own basket to collect eggs and a camera to get a picture with the Easter Bunny.  The “hunt” will be divided by age group.  All you can eat breakfast is available for $8 per adult and $5 for children under 12 years of age.  Reservations for breakfast are requested.
