Founded in 1981, Hunterdon Academy of the Arts is excited to celebrate its 35th Anniversary this year! We are the largest performing arts school in the county, with current enrollments peaking at an all-time high of over 620 students. The school is particularly well known for its high-quality Music Lessons and Classes, but has more recently added Acting instruction to its portfolio of services. While most of our students are children and teenagers, we are seeing an increase of adults joining our school specifically for Music Lessons.
As a key benefit of our services, we customize our teachings to the learning styles and preferences of individual students. This makes the learning experience more enjoyable, which in turn yields better and faster learning results.
One of the most respected Music Schools in the state of New Jersey, HAA has won numerous prizes and awards. These include, twice, Musikgarten’s Exemplary Program Award for our outstanding commitment to early childhood music education and the Musikgarten philosophy. We are also aFounding School and New Jersey Assessment Center for the prestigious Royal Conservatory Music Development Program.
Thriving in this special environment, many of our music students have won prizes and other distinctions at various music competitions and performed in some of the most well-known concert venues in the Tri-State Region, including Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall.
