Schaefer Farms

When: September – October
Where: 1051 County Route 523, Flemington, NJ

Take the family on a scenic hayride to 40+ acres of homegrown pumpkins at Schaefer Farms. Every Saturday and Sunday from September – October you will have access to the hayride, corn maze, hay maze, farm animals, and more. The farm stand is filled with the fall harvest – country treasures and fall decorations, Indian corn, gourds, kale, corn stalks, straw, and a wide variety of colorful mums. Take home some apple cider, fresh baked pies, breads, and other fall goodies.

Fall Fun at Melick’s Town Farm

When: Fall Season
Where: 472 County Road 513, Califon, NJ

Spend a fall day visiting the historic farms, surrounded by the fresh smell of the orchards and scenic countryside. The farm is filled with festive decorations and activities during the month of October. Kids can explore the corn maze, and you can pick your own peaches and apples through the first week of November. Califon has over 200 acres of farm fun. Oldwick Cider Mill offers scenic wagon rides and a visit to the Cider Mill to see how the fresh picked apples are pressed into a delicious blend of pure apple cider.

Frenchtown’s 19th Annual Riverfest

When: Sunday, September 3rd, 11 am – 7 pm
Where: Frenchtown, NJ

Celebrate Frenchtown’s Riverfest – a celebration of life on the river. There will be two stages with 20 musical acts and performances, 50+ local vendors, 7 food vendors and beer tent and so much more.

Tewksbury Harvest Festival

When: September 23rd, 12 pm – 5 pm
Where: Christie Hoffman Farm Park, 108 Fairmount Rd. W, Califon, NJ

Tewksbury Harvest Festival is being held for its 25th year. It’s an annual event celebrating the tradition of family and community in Tewksbury. The festival is a primary fundraiser for the Tewksbury First Aid and Rescue Squad. The event is pet friendly and the events include a crafts show, food trucks, live entertainment, pie contest, kids activities, a silent auction and more.

Farm of Horrors | Schaefer Farms

Farm of Horrors runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday Night from the end of September – October. Ride, walk and then RUN for your life at Hunterdon County, New Jersey’s Original and most sought after Halloween attractions.

Great Pumpkin at Music Mountain Theatre

When: October 14, 21 and 28, 11 am and 1 pm
Where: Music Mountain Theatre, 1483 Rt. 179, Lambertville, NJ

Enjoy an original, annual, interactive Halloween happening full of silly skits and spooky songs like “Love Potion #9,” “Purple People Eater,” and “Monster Mash,” and meet The Great Pumpkin!

The Haunted Red Mill Halloween 

When: October
Where: 56 Main Street, Clinton, NJ

Visit the Haunted Red Mill this Halloween Season. There will be a Halloween Celebration for those that love Halloween and the Haunted Red Mill on Sunday, October 29th from 7-11 pm. This event is 21+ only. 10 Acres of Frights begins on Friday, October 13th and run Friday and Saturdays in October until the 28th.

Happy Haunts at Haunted Red Mill

When: October 14th, 21st and 28th
Where: 56 Main Street, Clinton, NJ

Happy Haunts is an event designed specifically for children and squeamish adults. It’s a No/Low scare event that includes; a hayride, face painting, donuts and apple cider and a small pumpkin while the last. Tickets sold online and at the event.

Oktoberfest at Lone Eagle Brewing

When: September 30, 12 pm – 10 pm
Where: 44 Stangl Road, Flemington, NJ

Coined as The Oktoberfest in Hunterdon County, celebrate Oktoberfest like only Lone Eagle can do. There will be music, fun and great beer releases. Rain date is Saturday, October 7th.

Saucetoberfest

When: October 14th, 12-8 pm
Where: 44 Stangl Road, Flemington, NJ

The 9th Annual Saucetoberfest will be a spicy celebration There will be hot sauce challenges and tastings, food trucks, live music and beer and more.

Oktoberfest at Hunterdon Hills Playhouse

When: Sunday, October 8th, 1-7 pm
Where: 88 NJ 173, Hampton, NJ

Get ready for a fun-filled Oktoberfest at the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse. There will be traditional German fare including beer, brats, and live music, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Hunterdon County. Also featuring craft beer, whiskey and wine tastings from dozens of craft breweries, distilleries and wineries. With family friendly vendors and activities, there will be something for everyone.

Beneduce Vineyards

1 Jeremiah Lane, Alexandria, NJ

Visit Beneduce Vineyards this fall at one of their many events. Friday, November 3rd, attend the Locals Night from 5-9 pm. They will be hosting Swampy Vale Earth-Oven Fired Pizza, rocking out to a staff-curated playlist and offering by the glass specials of current releases and library wines. Attend one of the Sunday Picnics from 12-5 pm, with a line up of acoustic solos, duos and the occasional trio. Sunday Picnic is hosted outdoors from April to November.

2023 Harvest Dinner Series at Unionville Vineyards

When: September 15th, 6-9 pm
Where: 9 Rocktown Road, Ringoes, NJ

The Second Annual Harvest Dinner Series welcomes Under the Moon Café on Friday, September 15th at 6 pm, offering a five-course menu paired with fine Unionville Library wines. Held in the vineyard behind the 1858 farmhouse.
