This weekend, local restaurants will watch thousands of chicken wings fly out their doors in anticipation of Super Bowl Sunday. At Chelsea’s Restaurant and Pub in Lebanon, the staff is bracing for 3,000 wing orders. At Finnagel’s Restaurant in Clinton, the demand will be about the same, say staff members. It’s such a dizzying effort, that Finnagel’s, a Hunterdon Happening List Finalist for Best Wings, will close early to give staff a needed break! Several Hunterdon restaurants are actually choosing to close for the big game. But fear not! There are still plenty of places to go on Sunday to gather by the TVs, watch some football (and commercials!) while chowing down and throwing back some drinks. Below is a list of places that will be open, some offering delicious specials.
Pre-Game Tune Up

3rd Annual Super Bowl BBQ
Where: Quakertown Fire Co. 91, 67 Quakertown Road, Pittstown
When: Sunday, noon to 3 p.m.
