 Preservation Fine Goods

“At Preservation Fine Goods, we appreciate the heart and soul that goes into making fine design and celebrate the American maker and design tradition. We present the unique process behind each product to encourage a genuine connection between the maker and the user.”

Founder, Kate Marsh, started Preservation Fine Goods with a vision to support the designers of a new American tradition in design, craft and manufacturing. With over 15 years of design experience in graphic design and furniture design, Kate is passionate about the materials and processes that contribute to fine design products. A truly multi-disciplinary designer, she has designed anything from furniture and home goods to graphics and branding to digital interactive applications. She started and ran her own successful design studio in New York City and has a MFA in Woodworking and Furniture Design from the School of American Crafts, RIT. With numerous experiences living abroad and traveling, Kate has developed a keen sensibility for great and timeless designs. With this in mind, she has carefully-selected a collection focusing on home products exclusively made in the United States, with natural materials by skilled designers and craftspeople.
