The bustling towns of Hunterdon County are home to many renters. Boasting tons of charm, it’s no surprise that tenants are flocking to these scenic locations to live- Lambertville, Frenchtown, Flemington, Stockton, & more. But high rental demand also leads to more rental problems, both for tenants and landlords. To help locals avoid those complicated legal issues, Lambertville Library is hosting a free event to educate tenants and landlords.
What: Landlord – Tenant Law: Friend or Foe led by Ken Glynn, Attorney at Law in NJ
When: January 21, 2014, 7:30-8:30PM
Where: Lambertville Library
Ken has represented landlords, condo owners, condo association owners, condo renters, tenants, unwed involved tenants, divorce-related landlords and tenants, single home landlords, single home tenants and commercial lease landlords and tenants.
He will present this program with outlines of numerous related issues- leases, deposits, arrears, constructive eviction, special rights, procedures for collections vs. eviction, subleases, holdovers, month-to-month and many other aspects of this pertinent area of law.
A question and answer session will follow the presentation and all attendees will be provided with a helpful booklet prepared by Ken.
