Flemington Opa! Greek Festival

When: Friday, September 6 through Sunday, September 8; Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.
Where: 85 Voorhees Corner Road, Flemington

The Flemington Opa! Festival is a 2019 Happening List Finalist (and previous repeat Winner) of the Best Foodie Event with food and fun for the whole family! Enjoy authentic Greek food and pasties, carnival games, pony rides, live music and more. Parking is free. Admission is $2 for adults and children over 12.

Pinnochio at Music Mountain Theatre

When: Saturday, September 7, 14 and 21 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Where: 1483 RT 179, Lambertville

Based on “The Adventures of Pinocchio” by Carlo Collodi, this musical tells the tale of Mr. Gepetto and the wooden puppet that came to life. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased here.

Rock & Blues Festival for Veterans

When: Saturday, September 7 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: Schaefer Farms, 1051 County Road 523, Flemington

Bring the family out for a great day of fun for a good cause! There will be live music, food trucks, a petting zoo, beer, wine and more. Proceeds will benefit local veterans. Performers include Steve Johnson Band, Skinny Dippers Band, The Incinerators, Christine Martucci and The Band of Love, and CC Coletti Band with Anthony Krizan. Purchase tickets here.

Latin Ballroom Dancing at Hunterdon Art Museum

When: Saturday, September 7 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: 7 Lower Center Street, Clinton

Put on your dancing shoes and head on over to the Hunterdon Art Museum terrace for a fun evening of Latin Ballroom Dancing. This special night begins with a 40-minute group lesson led by the Fred Astaire Dancers of Warren, followed by an evening of great music and dancing on the beautiful Toshiko Takaezu Terrace. You are welcome to bring your own beverages and food. Cost is $18 or $15 for Museum members. Proceeds benefit the Hunterdon Art Museums exhibitions and classes and workshops for adults and children. Grandparent and Me Nature Walk at Hunterdon County Arboretum

When: Sunday, September 8 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: 1020 State Highway 31, Lebanon

Kids can spend some quality time in the outdoors with their grandparents away from phones, computers and other distractions. Join Park Naturalist Debra Reed for a guided nature walk, exploring the outdoors and the interesting wildlife at the Arboretum. Tickets are $3 per child, adults are free.
