Where: Flemington Station, 80 Stangl Road, Flemington

BR&W’s North Pole Express is the perfect way to get the entire family into the Christmas spirit! Ride the train with Santa’s elves, meet Santa Claus, enjoy hot cocoa and cookies, and get your face painted at North Pole Station. All trains depart Flemington Station. When: Saturday, December 28 at 9:30 p.m.
Where: 157 Main Street, Whitehouse Station

It’s the last Saturday night of the year! (And decade!) Put on those dancing shoes and enjoy the Best of Mo Town and all your favorite dance songs. No cover charge.

Black River & Western Railroad’s Cabin Fever Special

When: Sunday, December 29 at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Where: Flemington Station, 80 Stangl Road, Flemington

Get out of the house and enjoy a ride in a cozy coach. There will be a stop at Ringoes for cookies and hot cocoa, included in the price of your ticket! Tickets: Age 3-11 $12. Age 12+ $15. Additional $1.50 service fee on all tickets. Guests under age 3 ride FREE, no ticket required. All departures are round-trip. Purchase tickets here.

Burning Bowl Ceremony at Unity Spiritual Center

When: Sunday, December 29 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Where: 453 Bellwood Avenue, Asbury

Get ready for a fresh start to the New Year with the Burning Bowl Ceremony! You’ll have the opportunity to write down and throw into the fire that which no longer serves, such as limiting beliefs, unforgiving attitudes, regrets, or old & unwanted conditions or events in your life. Then, with a clean page, write goals, and aspirations for 2020. A cleansing and refreshing way to end and begin a year! Led by Rev. Carmela Vuoso-Murphy.
