Hunterdon County 4-H Fair

When: Now through Sunday, August 25 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday
Where: County Fairgrounds, Route 179, Ringoes

Come out for a day at the fair! There will be live music, tractor pulls, animal expos, rides and more! Admission is free. Parking is $10.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Beeat Music Mountain Theatre

When: Friday, August 23 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, August 24 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and Sunday, August 25 at 3 p.m.
Where: 1483 RT 179, Lambertville

This hilarious interactive musical tells the story of an eclectic group of mid-pubescents as they vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. Get tickets here.

Peach Fest

When: Saturday, August 24 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Where: Factory Fuel Co., 2 Stangl Road, Flemington

Feast on delicious peaches while listening to great local bands and perusing art by some of the area’s most talented artists. There will be artist vendors, live music all day, and every kind of pastry you can think of stuffed with peaches.

Musical Chairs Flemington

When: Saturday, August 24 from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: 91 Main Street, Flemington

Join the community for Musical Chairs on Main Street featuring live musicians in the Art Chairs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Visit Attachments, Barkley’s, Market Roost, Aunt Dee Dee’s and Black Lab/Kries Jewelry. There will be fun activities at every stop, followed by an Old School Musical Chair game at the Filling Station from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Vintage North Jersey Food & Wine Festival

When: Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25 from noon to 5 p.m.
Where: Union Vineyards, 9 Rocktown Road, Ringoes

All Hunterdon County vineyards are included in the event that features food trucks, craft vendors and music. Bring picnic blankets and lawn chairs and sprawl across the 89 acres of preserved farmland. Each ticket includes admission, a souvenir glass for tastings and sampling of six wines from each winery.
