Clinton’s Come Together Friday Night Music Festival

When: Friday, August 21 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: Main Street, Clinton

This annual summer event has been slowly adding more festivities since their late start this year. Grab a friend and bring a lawn chair. Many of the local restaurants and shops also have specials going on during the Festivals. There is unlimited free parking at the Community Center on Halsted Street and behind the Municipal Building on Lehigh Street.

Free Yoga in the Borough Park

When: Saturday, August 22 from 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
Where: Court Street Park, Park Avenue & Court Street, Flemington

Participate in a free outdoor yoga class led by Honor Yoga every Saturday in August. BYO mat, mask and water bottle.

Flemington DIY’s First Annual Puzzle Pursuit

When: Saturday, August 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: 90 Main Street, Flemington

The Puzzle Pursuit is a community-wide outdoor puzzle race. It incorporates elements of geocaching, scavenger hunts, and most importantly, it will test your puzzle and riddle solving skills. This Puzzle Pursuit is meant to get you exploring outside, challenge your problem-solving skills and test how much you know about the Flemington Borough area. Entry fee is $5 minimum per person (you can donate more if you’d like!) & all fees will be donated directly to Flemington Area Food Pantry. Masks are required at the start and end of the race and children under 12 years old must be supervised by an adult team player. Additionally, one smartphone is needed per team that has GPS capabilities. Register and get more info HERE.

Chill out on Main Street in Flemington

When: Saturday, August 22 from noon to 4 p.m.
Where: Main Street, Flemington

Giant penguins have taken over Flemington’s Main Street! Take a picture with them and visit local businesses on Saturday afternoons in August and enter to win a $300 gift certificate package. Many of the local restaurants, cafes and markets will be offering specially priced iced and frozen treats to help you beat the summer heat. You’ll also want to check out the new outdoor patio areas.

Ride the Hunterdon Flyer from Black River & Western Railroad

When: Saturday and Sunday, August 22 and 23 at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Where: Stangl Road & State Route 12, Flemington

Black River & Western Railroad reopened last weekend! Enjoy an extended length excursion all the way from Flemington to Bowne and back. Features a stop at Bowne Station to stretch your legs and enjoy the scenery. Book tickets and read about the new safety procedures HERE.

Listen to Live Music at Red Mill

When: Saturday, August 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: 56 Main Street, Clinton

Summer Concerts in the Quarry are back at Red Mill. Enjoy free, live music outside. (Any donations go right to the museum.) Bring a picnic, BYOB. Snacks and water will be for sale. This Saturday’s performer is Gregg Cagno.

Watch a New Indie Release She Dies Tomorrow at The Acme Carpool Cinema

When: Saturday, August 22 at 8 p.m.
Where: Behind Robust Wealth, 204 N. Union Street, Lambertville

Watch a screening of She Dies Tomorrow from the comfort of your car. Movie starts at 8:45 p.m. Plus, there will be live music by Alix Paul with Jeffrey  Fadden from 8 to 8:30. Purchase tickets and read guidelines via THIS LINK. Tickets are $35 per car.
