Are you ready to celebrate Hunterdon County?!

Record-breaking participation has made the 2014 Hunterdon Happening List the biggest people’s choice voting contest to ever hit Hunterdon County.  Thousands of amazing local people, places, events, and businesses were nominated across 11 comprehensive categories ranging from “Food & Drink” to “Home Improvement” to “Everything Hunterdon.”

While dozens of winners have already been announced, contest’s results will continue to be released each Thursday through 5/29. In honor all of the fabulous winners, finalists, and nominees in this year’s Happening List Competition, we’re throwing a big celebration, and you’re invited!

We’re rolling out the red carpet on Tuesday, June 10th from 5pm to 7:30pm at the historic Lambertville House. The most happening people of Hunterdon County will gather together in the 1812 Room.

Lambertville House.jpgIt’s especially fitting to celebrate the best of Hunterdon County at one of the most historic landmarks of the community.  Captain John Lambert built the Lambertville House Hotel in 1812. During its early years, the hotel was known as Lambert’s Inn and served as a stagecoach stop that provided lodging to U.S. presidents including Andrew Johnson and Ulysses S. Grant, dignitaries, and business leaders traveling the main thoroughfare between New York and Philadelphia.

And now, Hunterdon County’s best will walk the red carpet there in honor of the winners & finalists of the 2014 Hunterdon Happening List. After walking the red carpet, guests will be treated to delicious hors d’ouerves, local entertainment, and much more.  A variety of beverages will be available for purchase at a cash bar.

There are a limited number of tickets available so don’t delay!
