Califon Fireman’s Carnival

The Califon Fireman’s Carnival will open on Monday, July 2nd and run through Saturday, July 7, 2018. The fireworks finale is on Wednesday July 3, and Friday July 6, 2018 The carnival is staged at the carnival grounds behind the Califon Municipal Building at 39 Academy Street. The event features: a carousel, a Ferris wheel, games, food.
Lebanon Parade 
July 4th at 9:30 am

This year, Lebanon Borough celebrates it’s 70th Annual 4th of July Parade on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. The children’s parade starts at 9:30 at Sutton Place and the main parade will kick off at 10:00 a.m. on Main Street. The theme for the 2018 is “Celebrating 70 Years.” There will be awards for: Most Patriotic, Best Theme Representation. The parade will feature Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Indian Guides, firetrucks, color guards, costumed characters, EMS vehicles, and more.

Lambertville-New Hope Fireworks

The Delaware River Towns Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center is again hosting fireworks on the first Friday of every month throughout the summer, including Friday, July 6.  The free fireworks series lights up the sky in Lambertville and its Bucks County neighbor New Hope. Many of the shops and restaurants extend their hours on the firework evenings. Garden State Fireworks will be presenting the shows. For more information visit delawarerivertowns.com.

Delaware Township’s Recreation Commission kicks off its 30th Annual Great Crate race with fireworks on Friday, June 30th beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the municipal building.  Bring your picnic baskets and enjoy the company of your neighbors.  Musical entertainment will precede the the fireworks.  On Wednesday, July 4th, come watch the annual soapbox derby which luanches at 9 :00 a.m. For more information, visit www.delawaretwpnj.org
High Bridge Summer Concert Series
July 7 at 6:00 p.m.

 The Magnificent Mancini Brothers kick off the concert with a 6:00 p.m. performance, followed by  Ross Griswold & Second Line, a New Orleans style R&B band at 7:00 p.m. Bring chairs or blankets. The event is free.
Readington Recreation Summer Spectacular
 June 26th; 5:00-10:30 pm
Summer Road Park, Readington, NJ
A free outdoor screening of the movie SING begins at dusk, followed by a Lip Synch Contest at 8:15 p.m. Choose from these songs: Shake it Off; My Way; Call Me Maybe; Bad Romance; Firework. Prizes offered for best group, individual or duo. There will also be amusements such as the Life Size Hungry Hippo game, Mini Golf and Iceless Ice Skating. A concession stand will be open. Just bring chairs or blanket to watch the movie.
Titusville’s 75th Annual July 4th Parade
July 4th  10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
River Drive, Titusville
This small, river community just south of Lambertville celebrates July 4th in style with an afternoon of balloons, face painting, food, ice cream, music, children’s parades, and our feature event – The Big Parade. It includes fife and drum bands from the Old Barracks in Trenton, the crowning of Titusville’s Miss 4th of July and a quoits tournament to end the day’s festivities.
Concert Under the Stars at Deer Path Park
 July 5th,  7:00-9:00 p.m.

New York City-based Citigrass will perform its specialized “urban bluegrass,”  blending rock, jazz and classical influences with traditional bluegrass. The band appeared recently on ABC TV live from Lincoln Center and is the featured soloist at this summer’s Mobile Symphony Orchestra pops concert. Bring chairs, blankets and a picnic basket to enjoy the evening.
Hot Rods and Harleys

American Graffitti meets Easy Rider during this holiday weekend event at Frenchtown’s beach bar and grill. The event will include prizes and live music. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
