Easter is just around the corner, and the bunny-tiful season has already begun. Bring the family to visit the Easter bunny at these fun events happening around Hunterdon County.
Bunny Express

The Flemington Easter Bunny Express features a 90 minute train ride from Flemington to Ringoes on a historic Black River & Western Railroad diesel-powered train with Peter Cottontail. During the trip our big bunny will visit the children posing for pictures for anyone and handing out small treats. The train ride from Flemington to Ringoes will take about 25 minutes. When the train gets to Ringoes it will stop for a layover. Everyone can visit the museum car and the Railroad gift shop at the Ringoes station. After about 15 minutes it will be time for the conductor to holler “All Aboard” for the return trip to Flemington. Tickets must be purchased in advance on the BR&W RR website. Tickets prices are $16.00 each for teens and adults, $9.00 for children between the ages of 3 to 11 years and all children under the age of 3 years can ride for free. All tickets subject to a small service charge.
The Train will run several times a day for the last two weekends in March, and April 3 and 4, but not on Easter Sunday. Private charters are available and groups of 20 or more will get a discount.
Bunny Train Ride
March 28 from 11:00 am – 3:30 pm
Cost: $18.00
Ride the Easter Bunny Train Ride and visit with Mr. E. Bunny on the train. Your ride will wind along the scenic Delaware River leaving from the Historic District of Phillipsburg, New Jersey. The train will travel along the river to Carpentersville and our destination will be the site of the historic Lime Kilns. In front of the 150 year old Lime kilns is a beautiful little glade filled with Easter eggs! Once we arrive you can get off the train, take a picture with Mr. Bunny and gather 4 Easter eggs! On the train enjoy our banjo playing Hobo and a Juggler!
