Choose Your Theme & Venue

The first step in styling your wedding day is choosing a theme and a venue. Your theme will help guide you in all of your design choices from colors to florals and décor. Popular wedding themes include rustic, tying in natural elements like wood and greenery or romantic with soft lighting and lots of flowers. Once you have a theme in mind, you will be able to search for and find your perfect venue that will help bring your vision to life. Hunterdon County has a wide range of wedding venues from riverfront hotels to historic homes and breathtaking farms.

Decorate the Space

Your wedding venue should incorporate personal touches that tell you and your partner’s love story. It should also reflect your style and overall theme. When decorating your venue, make a statement in a few key areas. For example, this could be the altar, the head table or a special photo backdrop. Decorate these areas with floral arrangements, drapes, or a greenery wall to create beautiful photo opportunities.
