Flemington Opa! Greek Festival

2025 Happening List Winner: Foodie Event

The Flemington Opa! Greek Festival has food and fun for the whole family. There will be authentic Greek food and pastries, Greek music and folk dancing, vendor fair, carnival games and prizes, plus so much more. Dine indoors or outside under the big tent.

Hunterdon County Fair

The 2025 Hunterdon County Fair is taking place August 20-24. There is so much to do and see – shows on the main stage, animals, pig races, vendors, tractors, great fair food and fun for everyone.

June 28, July 26 & August 23, 3-8 pm

Check out the Summer Market Series, featuring all things, boho, witchy, horror, punk rock, pop culture and more. There will be food trucks and small business sidewalk sales. Open container beverages available at Lone Eagle Brewing and Skunktown Distillery. Rain date for each event the following day.

Hunterdon Polo Classic

The 2025 Hunterdon Polo Classic is a tradition of family-friendly fun, while raising funds for charity. There will be tailgate/hat contests this year so it’s encouraged to wear your best hat and come up with an awesome theme for your tailgate. Gates open at 12, polo starts at 2 and set up for tailgates, if needed is from 9 am – 12 pm.

Sourland Mountain Festival

Unionville Vineyards, 9 Rocktown Road, Ringoes, NJ

Besides hearing great music all-day, you get to learn about the history and wildlife that make the Sourlands special. Bring your friends and family, lawn chairs and blankets; plan to sit back and enjoy the party. Unionville Vineyards’ wine, local food, spirits, and craft beer will be available to help you relax! Guests and Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own reusable water/beverage bottles. Fresh Water will be available, free, from two water stations on the festival grounds.

This great night out features a mix of fresh talent and established comics, many of whom have appeared in TV shows, movies, late night entertainment, and their own stand-up specials. Make an evening of it! Reserve a table or cabana before the show for dinner or cocktails. You can even place an order at the show and enjoy a great selection of wine and food accoutrements from the Winery Menu. Shows Scheduled the 1st & 3rd Saturday of every month starting Saturday, April 5th through Saturday, November 29th

Historical Revolutionary Pub Crawl

July 12, 12:30 – 3:30 pm

History comes to life at each location as crawlers are captivated by the presentations of professional reenactors who have made the American Revolution and its rich history right here in the Delaware River Towns their passion. You will visit local hot spots, sip and savor delicious bites with fellow history lovers while learning about the contributions of many such as Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, as well as many women who were left out of the history books. At each stop, enjoy discounted drinks & local fare, and a captivating historical presentation by professional reenactors.
