Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of summer, but it’s also a time to recognize and remember those who have died performing their military duties serving in the United States Armed Forces. Hunterdon County will be honoring our veterans throughout the weekend with events, parades and workouts. Find all of Hunterdon County’s Memorial Day happenings right here. Flemington Fine Artisans Show
When: May 28 & 29, 10 am – 4 pm
Where: 4 Stangl Road, Flemington, NJ
The Flemington Fine Artisans show is a local event showcasing area artisans. This event will be on Memorial Day Sunday and Monday.
Memorial Day at Beneduce Vineyards
When: May 29, 12 pm – 6 pm
Where: 1 Jeremiah Lane, Alexandria, NJ
Come and enjoy the Motown-inspired melodies of Jeiris Cook, grab a pizza from Local Harvest Wood-Fired Pizza, and relax at Beneduce Vineyards this Memorial Day. All ages are welcome. Tastings will not be available by wine will be available by the glass or by the bottle. This event is free.
Memorial Day Weekend at Alba Vineyard
When: May 26-29, 11 am – 5 pm
Where: Alba Vineyard, 269 Riegelsville Warren Glen Rd, Village of Finesville, Milford, NJ
Spend Memorial Day Weekend at Alba Vineyard. There will be self-guided wine flights priced at $22, $28 and $34 per person (21+) and includes cover for music. There will be freshly made wood-fired pizza, lobster specials and other culinary treats available for purchase. Tables are first come first serve for 2-4 adults and reservations only for tables of 5-6 adults – and must purchase a self-guided wine flight or cover for music. Call to reserve your table.
Memorial Day Ceremony | Spruce Run Memorial VFW Post 5119
When: May 29th, 10 am
Where: 179 Main Street, Glen Gardner, NJ
Attend the Memorial Day Ceremony at the Spruce Run Memorial VFW Post 5119 on Monday, May 29th to help remember those who gave so much. The ceremony will include a gun salute and taps, followed by light refreshments. Bring the family – kids are welcome.

ASDC CrossFit in Flemington is holding a Murph Workout at 10 am. There will be many different scaling options so anyone can participate. Following the Murph Workout, there will be a Memorial Day BBQ at 11:30 am.
