Tis the season of giving!

As the holiday approach, it’s the perfect time to focus on being thankful for what we have, and also looking for ways that we can give in our community. The holidays this year are going to look and feel a little different, especially for the people who are in the greatest need. When neighbors are in need, those who are able are called upon to help.

Below is a list of just some of the many ways in which you can help your neighbors this holiday season:

Riding with HEART

Riding with HEART in Pittstown offers a wide range of equine-assisted activities to individuals and their familes. The non-profit organization provides a safe, progressive, therapeutic environment to persons who are physically, emotionally or developmentally challenged. Partnering with other organizations in the county, Helpline links clients to their programs and services when appropriate after assessing the client through the intake process.
