The Flemington Speedway Historical Society will present an overflowing tent of vintage race cars at the Hunterdon County 4-H and Agricultural Fair, which will be held August 23rd through the 27th.

The society’s mission is to preserve, protect, and document the history of the Flemington Fairgrounds and Speedway. The 4-H Fair was created after the owners of the Flemington Fair decided in 1999 to cease having it, and the property is now a shopping complex.

Besides its big display, which will be open daily, the society will again host Race Day at the Fair, the annual Flemington Speedway reunion, on Aug. 27th, the fair’s final day.  An old fashioned autograph session will be held at the tent from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

Any former driver or car owner from any division or year which raced at the former Flemington Fair Speedway is welcome to participate.  Please send an email of intent or for additional information to:  info@flemingtonspeedwayhistoricalsociety.com
