Everyone is welcome to join the Glen Gardner Women’s Club at Glen Gardner Borough Park for our first annual Party in the Park on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 4-8pm. Be sure to spread the word to local friends and family! Highlights will include tethered hot air balloon rides for $5 per person, sponsored by Unity Bank and the GGWC, a DJ, lawn games, giant human hamster balls, a history tent, plus a bake sale. Pack a picnic or enjoy the Glen Gardner Fire Department’s hot grill featuring burgers, hot dogs and chicken.
This is a BYOB event. Please be sure to pack blankets, chairs, tables, lanterns and flashlights.
“The focus of Party in the Park is to bring our community together and to create an event that appeals to all ages – children, singles, couples, families and seniors. Part of the mission of the Glen Gardner Women’s Club is to foster a sense of community and to focus on activities which support the town, its residents and the surrounding community. We feel Party in the Park will do just that,” said Lisa Fielding, President, Glen Gardner Women’s Club.
Party in the Park is replacing the GGWC’s annual Fall Festival, creating a community day for Glen Gardner and surrounding communities that falls earlier in the season.
