Enjoy your morning cup of among a spectacular view at the new Good Roots Café off 202 in Ringoes. The cafè is a new addition to the popular Rutgers Landscape & Nursery, which has served the community for over 30 years.
The nursery provides a park-like setting, crafted by Rutgers in partnership with baked goods from Factory Fuel Co. and the culinary talents of Blue Fish Grill. The coffee is 100% organic and certified fair trade.
Sitting atop quirky palette benches along a “wall” built by handing old doors and staring through the refurbished hanging windows, patrons can enjoy their gourmet coffee and bites among hundreds of beautiful plants. The indoor-outdoor setting is perfect for a warm day, but we sure to dress warmly if there is a chill in the air.
Eclectic menu options include a Fried Kitchen and Fennel Slaw Wrap, a Roasted Grape and Fresh Ricotta Sandwich, and a Wild Mushroom and Hibiscus Quesadilla. Check the board for daily specials.
