On Satuday, July 25th at 7pm, Burning Red Sun will play a free stage at Alexandria Township Park along with special guest Risen. Bring your blanket and chair to enjoy a great night of Music. The park is located at 242 Little York & Mount Pleasant Road in Milford, New Jersey.

Burning Red Sun is a Rock/Alternative Trio band from Central New Jersey, featuring founding members Ken Lazorchak and Mike Gomez, Bob Lippi.

Ken Lazorchak is no stranger to the New Jersey rock scene. He previously played in renowned bands such as Laughen Bones and The Lost Highway Ramblers. Ken was mentored by the great blues legend Roy Buchanan. His love of rock is eclectic and his music shows it. Influences of The Kinks, Jimi Hendrix, and Queens of the Stone Age, as well as many other greats can be heard in many of his songs.

Mike Gomez is a newcomer to NJ, originally from Detriot, but not to the music scene. He is best known as the former bass player for Concrete Pillow, a well known Detroit blues band. Influences of Led Zeppelin, Rush, the Beatles, and Kiss can be heard in his music.

Bob Lippi is a well know drummer in the Wayne area also known for drumming with local legends “Martyrs Return and is a solid addition to BRS’s “Wall of Sound” !

Burning Red Sun’s debut album Living on the Edge of Time has received critical acclaim. They have been signed with JMD Records/Universal Music Group for close to 3 years and are now working on a new album which will be out at the end of 2013.
