A you a techie or innovator looking to explore, share, and grow your craft? If so, then the 3rd annual HackHunterdon Hackathon is for you!

This year’s event takes place June 8 – June 9 at Hunterdon Central Regional High School in Flemington. The 24-hour marathon is a tech product creation competition for technology innovators. It’s organized by Hunterdon County Economic Development, Flemington Community Partnership and the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce.

The event brings together the most creative and passionate technologists to build groundbreaking software solutions that solve real-world problems. All in one weekend. Attending the event will be talent from Universities like Princeton, RVCC, and TCNJ, as well as from the growing pool of Hunterdon’s developers, technologists, and UI/UX designers.
HackHunterdon is an incredible way to identify and connect with innovative, entrepreneurial talent in Hunterdon. The aim of HackHunterdon is to recognize their abilities, partner with their efforts, and create an opportunity for their products and ideas to thrive locally. It is a key component of the county’s long term plans for prosperity.

Technology innovators who come to the event bring ideas for innovative projects, programs, or companies and partner into teams to come up with proposals. They will then be presented at the end of the Hackathon, resulting in cash and other prizes, and the chance to pitch to key investors. Don’t have an idea but still want to participate? That’s okay! The Event Organizers will match you with a team and give you the tools to build something incredible.
