Swiss-born Marcel Juillerat joins a roster of artists represented by Gallery 13 North in Lambertville. During his 40 years as a painter, Juillerat has already participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout the region. His next solo exhibition called “Winter Light” will be a collection centered around winter landscapes of New Jersey, specifically Jacobs Creek, Washington Crossing, as well as Baldpate Mountain area.
The exhibition, on view from January 15 to March 15, 2017, includes several medium to large-scale works capturing the winter feeling of this region in different media, such as oil, acrylic and watercolor. His winter landscapes focus on the interplay between daylight reflecting and snow.

Juillerat emerged in the early 1960’s after earning his degree from La Chaux-de-Fonds School in Switzerland. Moving to USA in 1969, he worked for Tiffany & Co. as a designer before joining Lenox China where he design the White House dinnerware for former first lady Nancy Reagan.
One of Juillerat’s paintings, “Washington Crossing Bridge in the Winter” was displayed in the Winter Wonders Exhibition at Monmouth Museum.
