food truck foodThe Lambertville Food Fair was such a success back in June that they decided to do it again under the new name Lambertville Food Fare. This event, complete with area restaurants dishing out the best of the best from their menus, 15 foodie food trucks lined up, gift and art shops open later, and a fabulous revamped beer garden, will take place for the second time this year on Thursday, October 16, from 5pm-10pm.

There are a few tweaks this time around to make the festival even more enjoyable for those who want to come and nosh. The biggest changes involve the beer and wine gardens. There will not be two beer and wine gardens and they will be open to everyone, not just those who want to drink. Back in June you were required to spend $25 on a wristband to get you into the beer garden and that included three beverages. This time around a band can be bought for $5, and while you are still only able to purchase three beverages, the change will give those who don’t drink or those who don’t want to drink as much more flexibility. Admission to the rest of the festival is free.

FoodFareYards Brewing Company is once again slated to sponsor the event and they will have their special Pynk beer on tap.  Pynk beer, which is brewed with sweet and sour cherries and raspberries to make it pink in color and give it a berry flavored taste, is seasonal and raises money for breast cancer research and awareness.

North Union Street between bridge and York Streets will be closed for the event that day. For more information check out the event page on the Lambertville Chamber of Commerce website. Happy Tasting!
