Aquasprouts Farms is among the 13 farmers and vendors participating in Hunterdon Land Trust’s winter Farmers’ Market
The Hunterdon Land Trust Famers’ Market is an area favorite year-round! The warm-weather version of the market ends on Sunday, November 24, but never fear! You can still shop organic fruits and vegetables; all-natural beef, chicken and pork; artisan breads; cheeses; honey; pies; plants; locally roasted coffee; milk; eggs and more throughout the winter. The Hunterdon Land Trust’s winter Farmers’ Market begins a new season on December 1 at the Dvoor Farm in Flemington.
The market runs the first and third Sundays of the month from December to mid-May from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is held in the farm’s wagon house. Other dates are Dec. 15; Jan. 5 and 19; Feb. 2 and 16; March 1 and 15; April 5 and 19; and May 3.
More than a dozen local farmers and vendors will participate in the market:
AquaSprout Farms: Fresh vegetables including lettuce, Swiss chard, kale and tomatoes.
Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse: Breads and a variety of cheeses — including cave-ripened cheddar, baudolino and drum.
Bubbly Goat: Goats milk soap, lotion, dish-washing bars, laundry soap, bath salts and lip balm.
Burek by Zeni: Homemade bureks — phyllo dough stuffed with meats, cheese and vegetables — and a Mediterranean or Balkan special precooked meal each week.
Comeback Farm: Organic produce.
Fieldstone Coffee Roasters: Coffee (including beans and ground), teas and more. Will attend the weeks of Dec. 15, Jan. 19 and March 1.
Madison N Co Pet Treats: An assortment of treats for your four-legged family members including dehydrated ground beef, chicken, turkey, turkey bacon, steak or chicken breast treats. You’ll also find peanut cookies, cheese treats and tuna treats.
Neshanic Station Apiaries: Raw honey, handcrafted soaps, beeswax candles and lip balm.
Pickle Licious: A variety of pickles, olives and sun-dried tomatoes.
Purely Farm: Eggs, artisan sausages, pastured pork and turkey, and bone broth.
River Lea House: Assortment of garlic products such as cooking garlic, hummus, black garlic, vegan butter, garlic scape pesto, garlic butter and other garlic products.
Sandbrook Meadow Farm: Organic produce.
Will’s Amazing Vegan Burgers: Frozen, home-made vegan burgers that are soy-free, dairy-free and gluten-free, and sauces.
