The Hunterdon Land Trust’s Winter Farmers’ Market will be open Sunday, April 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dvoor Farm, 111 Mine St. in Flemington. Shoppers should know that the Farmers’ Market managers will take every precaution to ensure you a safe visit during this Covid-19 pandemic. They will be moving more vendors outside the wagon house, encourage all to practice social distancing and adopt all other necessary measures.

At the market, you’ll find food that’s fresh-picked at its flavorful and nutritional peak. Fresh-picked food will also last longer, another concern during these times when we’re all limiting our trips outside our homes. Shop organic produce, meat, cheese, fresh-baked bread, honey, vegan burgers, eggs, garlic, dog treats and more.

Vendors who plan to attend the market are:

AquaSprout Farms: Aquaponically grown fresh vegetables including lettuce, Swiss chard, kale and tomatoes.

Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse: Breads and a variety of cheeses — including cave-ripened cheddar, baudolino and drum.

Bubbly Goat: Goats milk soap, lotion, dish-washing bars, laundry soap, bath salts and lip balm.

Burek by Zeni: Homemade bureks — phyllo dough stuffed with meats, cheese and vegetables — and a Mediterranean or Balkan special precooked meal.

Comeback Farm: Organic produce.

Fare Is Fowl: Colorful organic eggs.

Madison N Co Pet Treats: An assortment of treats for your four-legged family members including dehydrated ground beef, turkey, turkey bacon, steak or chicken breast treats. You’ll also find peanut cookies, cheese treats and tuna treats.

Neshanic Station Apiaries: Raw honey, handcrafted soaps, beeswax candles and lip balm.

Pickle Licious: A variety of pickles, olives and sun-dried tomatoes.

Purely Farm: Eggs, artisan sausages, pastured pork and turkey, and bone broth.

River Lea House: Assortment of garlic products including cooking garlic, hummus, black garlic, vegan butter, garlic-scape pesto and garlic butter.

Sandbrook Meadow Farm: Organic produce.

Toadshade Wildflower Farm: Native plants and seeds, including wildflowers, shrubs, ferns, vines, and small trees.

Will’s Amazing Vegan Burgers: Frozen, home-made vegan burgers that are soy-free, dairy-free and gluten-free, and sauces.

HLT winter Farmers’ Market sponsors are: Basil Bandwagon Natural Market, Northfield Bank, Thomas McMillan – Callaway Henderson Sotheby’s International Realty, Matt’s Red Rooster Grill and McPherson & Newland Insurance.

Special guest Beneduce Vineyards will also be at the market offering wine for purchase or pre-prder pickup.
