It’s the weekend before Thanksgiving, and there are plenty of ways to get into the holiday spirit! Here are our picks for fun things to do in Hunterdon County. Christmas Bazaar at Frenchtown Presbyterian Church

When: Friday, November 22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, November 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, November 24 from 8:30 a.m. to noon
Where: 22 4th Street, Frenchtown

Come shop crafts, white elephant items, baked goods and homemade soups! The Church will also be hosting a Community Thanksgiving Dinner at 4 p.m. on Sunday. It’s free and open to the entire community.

Winter Festival

When: Saturday, November 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Voorhees High School, 256 Route 513, Glen Gardner

Now in its 10th year, more than 100 vendors will offer food, crafts and wares. First 1,000 adults to attend get a chance to win gift cards to local businesses. Great place for unique gifts.Proceeds benefit Voorhees High School Music Program.

Frosty and Rudolph at Music Mountain Theatre

When: Saturday, November 23 with shows at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Where: 1483 Route 179, Lambertville

Get in the holiday spirit with this kid-friendly show that’s a jolly new take on traditional holiday stories. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased here.

Festival of Trees 2019 at Red Mill

When: Starts Saturday, November 23 at noon
Where: 56 Main Street, Clinton

Celebrate the holiday season at the annual Festival of Trees, featuring a beautiful display of decorated trees, wreaths and centerpieces donated from members of the community! Admissions is $10. Free admission for Museum Members and children 6 and under and active military.

The North Pole Express

When: Saturdays and Sundays from November 23 to December 28
Where: Flemington Station, 80 Stangl Road, Flemington, NJ

BR&W’s North Pole Express is the perfect way to get the entire family into the Christmas spirit! Ride the train with Santa’s elves, meet Santa Claus, enjoy hot cocoa and cookies, and get your face painted at North Pole Station. All trains depart Flemington Station. Winter Magic Art Show

When: Saturday, November 23 from 2 p.m. to 4p.m.
Where: 2 Stangl Road, Flemington

Art Venture’s fine artists will be presenting winter-themed artwork in the Art Venture Gallery at Factory Fuel Co. Coffee House from November 23rd through January 9th. The art show opening reception will be Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. All are welcome to come “chill” with the artists.

Breakfast with Santa at the Flemington Elks Lodge

When: Sunday, November 24 from 8 a.m. to noon
Where: 165 State Route 31, Flemington

Santa is coming to the Flemington Elks Sunday breakfast! Breakfast is served 8am to noon and Santa will be arriving at 10 am. He is making his lists and will be there to talk with all the good boys and girls. Enjoy a delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast. Adults are $8, children under 12 free.

Hunterdon Land Trust Annual Holiday Farmers’ Market

When: Sunday, November 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Dvoor Farm, 111 Mine Street, Flemington

Do some holiday shopping at this special edition of the Hunterdon Land Trust Farmer’s Market. There will be a number of treats including a new vendor (Pickle Licious), a special guest and the return of Phillips Markets. This is the final outdoor weekly Farmer’s Market before the Winter Farmers’ Market begins on December 1. Find out more here.

Pancakes with Maple the Snowman

When: Sunday, November 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Hunterdon County Complex, 314 State Route 12, Flemington

Enjoy a Pancake Breakfast in a winter wonderland scene with Maple the Snowman. Crafts for kids of all ages, and great family time together. This event is hosted by Hunterdon County Stigma Free Task Force.
