6th Annual Hunterdon County Community Day

When: Saturday, June 1 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Where: Hunterdon County Fairgrounds, 1207 Route 179, Ringoes

A petting zoo, tethered balloon rides, children’s games and activities, displays by local community groups and businesses round out this free event. A $5 donation for parking is requested. Read more about the event here.

Glen Gardner Celebrates Its 100-Year Birthday

When: Saturday, June 1 from 3 p.m. to dusk
Where: Glen Gardner Borough Park, 2 School Street, Glen Gardner

Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Borough’s incorporation! There will be free festivities compliments of The Borough and Unity Bank of Clinton, including live bands, inflatable obstacle course, face painting, bungee trampoline, Clydesdale wagon rides, a photo booth and more! There will also be food trucks and a beer/wine tent with food and beverages for purchase. The evening will end with a fireworks show.

Beach Bar Patio Grand Opening at Artie’s Bar and Grill

Where: Artie’s Bar and Grill, 1121 Route 12, Frenchtown

Canines on the Canal Dog Walk & 5k to benefit Lulu’s Rescue

Where: Sunbeam-Lenape Park, Bridge Street, Frenchtown
When: Sunday , June 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Walk with your pooch through the historic Borough of Frenchtown or compete in a 5K run on the beautiful tow path along the Delaware River. There will be an after party in Sunbeam Park with live music from the Eastern Hellbenders, snacks and lots of fun socializing with pups. Rain date June 9th.

Family Weekend Nature Club

When: Sunday, June 2 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: Echo Hill Park, 42 Lilac Drive, Flemington

Join Park Naturalist Debra Reed for nature activities at Echo Hill Park on the first Sunday of each month. Attendees will play games, explore the outdoors, and participate in interactive activities.  Bring your family outdoors to have fun, enjoy health benefits, and learn about the wonderful wild world we live in.  Each session is $3 per child 12 and under (ages 4 and up, please). Hunterdon Art Museum’s “Art on Tap”

When: Sunday, June 2 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Hunterdon Art Museum, 7 Lower Center Street, Clinton

The Hunterdon Art Museum will is hosting its annual fundraiser to support the Museum’s education programs and exhibitions of contemporary art, craft and design. Sample an array of micro-brews, wines and whiskies, and fine food from the Clinton area’s best restaurants. Tickets are $35 in advance, $45 at the door (if available); $15 designated driver’s ticket
