Memorial Day Weekend is here, and you don’t need to go to the shore for fun! Here’s a list of things to do in Hunterdon County this weekend. Rapunzel and Little Women at Music Mountain Theatre

When:

Rapunzel: Saturday, May 25 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Little Women: Friday, May 24 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, May 25 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.; Sunday, May 26 at 3 p.m.

Where: 1483 RT 179, Lambertville

Music Mountain Theatre has two family-friendly shows this weekend. Rapunzel is a fairytale come to life! This is the final day for the show this season. Get tickets here.

Memorial Day Weekend at Old York Cellars

When: Saturday, May 25 to Monday, May 27th
Where: Old York Cellars, 80 Old York Rd.,Ringoes

Kicking off the summer with live music, the winery will host Denise Chaplin on Saturday and  Robert Viola on Sunday. Pack a picnic or grab something from the local restaurants in Flemington or Lambertville and relax at the vineyard. Active military and veterans receive a free wine tasting and 10 percent off wine purchases with military ID.

Flemington Car Show

When: Saturday, May 25th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Main Street, Flemington

The Flemington Car Shows run every-other Saturday all summer long offering free family entertainment. Hundreds of the best classic cars on the East Coast come out. Live performances are given by local musicians, complimented by a DJ spinning classic tunes.  It also features kid activities such as face painting, bounce house, games, and balloon sculptures.

Patriotic Canvas Painting at Gone Paintin’

When: Saturday, May 25 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: 14 Commerce Street, Flemington

Create a patriotic painting on a 16 x 20 inch canvas. Choose from 3 designs, no experience necessary. Makes a wonderful decoration for patriotic décor. Bring friends, BYOB! $30 per person, reserve your spot online here.

We May Be Right: Billy Joel Tribute Band at Riley & Jake’s

When: Sunday, May 26 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: 1831 RT 31, Clinton

Tribute band, We May Be Right returns to Riley & Jake’s for their 2nd annual Memorial Day Weekend show. Enjoy fresh air, food and drinks out on the patio while singing along to Billy Joel favorites and deep cuts.
