Seusstastic Kids’ Night Out Pajama Party at Tumbles Clinton

When: Friday, March 1 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Where: 186 Center Street, Clinton

Celebrate Reach Across America Day with a Dr. Suess themed Pajama Party at Tumbles! Kids ages 3 to 10 can enjoy a night of fun while parents get a night to themselves. There will be pizza, crafts, games and a movie. The cost is $25 for the first child, $20 for second. (Third is free!) Add $5 per child if you’re not a Tumbles Member. Call (908) 730-7002 to register. Thomas Day!

When: Saturday, March 2 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Where: ACME Screening Room, 25 S. Union Street, Lambertville

Calling all Thomas the Train fans! The Lambertville Public Library is hosting a Thomas-themed morning event at the ACME Screening Room. There will be model trains, crafts, storytime, playsets and more.

Philadelphia Flower Show

When: March 2 through March 10

Where: The Pennsylvania Convention Center, 12th and Arch Streets, Philadelphia

As the nation’s largest and longest-running horticultural event, The PHS Philadelphia Flower Show is a favorite Philly tradition. This year’s theme, “Flower Power” pays tribute to the incredible impact flowers have on our lives. Flowers have the power to convey emotion, inspire, decorate and style. They transcend cultures and borders. Come see this awe-inspiring celebration for yourself. Tickets can be purchased here.

Hunterdon Land Trust Winter Farmer’s Market

When: Sunday, March 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Dvoor Farm, 111 Mine Street, Flemington

Enjoy delicious fresh seasonal food at Hunterdon Land Trust Winter Farmer’s Market. This event is held on the first and third Sundays of the month from December to early May in the farm’s wagon house. This year, there are some new participants including seafood vendor, Local 130 Seafood; Aquasprouts Farm, an aquaponics farm with lettuce and kale; Oak Grove Angus Farms with beef; Picklelicious, who offers an incredible assortment of pickles and olives; and Will’s Amazing Vegan Burgers. Return favorites include Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse, Comeback Farm, Sandbrook MeadowFarm, WoodsEdge Farm, Fired Up Flatbread Co., Purely Farm, Fieldstone Coffee Roasters and River Lea House.

Family Weekend Nature Club: Terrific Trees

When: Sunday, March 3 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Where: Echo Hill Park, 42 Lilac Drive, Flemington

This weekend is the first in a new series from Hunterdon County Parks and Recreation, Family Weekend Nature Club. You’re invited to join Park Naturalist Debra Reed on the first Sunday of each month. Enjoy games, explore the outdoors and participate in different activities. Each month will have a theme, and this weekend it’s “Terrific Trees.” This event is for ages 4 and up.
