Flemington Car Show

When: Saturday, June 22 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Where: Stangl Road, Flemington

Come stroll beautiful historic Stangl Road with your family, friends & neighbors to see one of the nicest variety of Classic Cars you will find anywhere. This week’s show features Mopars and Motorcycles. There will be a DJ spinning classic tunes and live music from The Shackers and Burning Red Sun, plus face painting, a bounce house, and other activities for kids. There will be door prizes and outdoor dining available to car owners and spectators.

Kitten Shower at Tabby’s Place

When: Saturday, June 22 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 1100 US Highway 202, Ringoes

Tabby’s Place, a cage-free, no-kill sanctuary for cats, is holding its 6th Annual Kitten Shower and Adoption Event on Saturday. Festivities will include reduced adoption fees for kittens ($50 rather than the usual $135), playtime with the kittens, tours of Tabby’s Place, and refreshments. The love-filled event is free to attend, but Kitten Shower gifts are much appreciated. In addition to monetary donations, Tabby’s Place kittens need canned kitten food and non-clumping clay kitty litter.

Food & Photography Tour with Sister Cities Food & Shop Tours

When: Saturday, June 22 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Delaware River Towns Chamber of Commerce, 77 Bridge Sreet, Lambertville

Are you a foodie who loves to take pictures with your mobile phone, during your culinary adventures? Do your pictures tend to come out blurry, unappealing or just less than you’d hoped for? Join Sister Cities Tours along with Stephen Harris from River Town Photography for tips and techniques to get great pictures of your food. You’ll also sample some of Lambertville & New Hopes exciting restaurants! Artie’s Bar and Grill Annual Pig Roast

When: Saturday, June 22 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: 1121 State Route 12, Frenchtown

Enjoy a day of rock n’ roll and country music and great food! Feast on Artie’s famous roasted bbq pork and chicken, sausage and peppers, salads, corn on the cob and more. BabyFace Finster and Big Horse Band will be playing outside and Real to Reel and Dace Bond will be inside. Tickets are $20 and tend to sell out, so buy online now.

Dog Days of Summer Aboard the Black River & Western Railroad

When: Saturday, June 22 at 4:45 p.m.
Where: Stangl Road and State Road 12, Flemington

It’s Cinder the Dog’s first big adventure! Ride to Bowne Station where she’ll meet with Doctor Dave to learn all about the moths, beetles, fireflies and other bugs that spring to life in New Jersey when the weather gets warm.

David Grossmueller, Ph.D, a professional zoologist specializing in insects, will talk with guests about all the tiny wonders that bring life to our beautiful garden state and the role they play in our delicate ecosystem. Ticketed guests who bring their plush Cinder with them to the event will receive a new tag to add to her collar for free! Purchase tickets here.

Bird Walk and Farmers Market at Hunterdon Land Trust

When: Sunday, June 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: 111 Mine Street, Flemington

Explore the bird habitat of the Hunterdon Land Trust’s Dvoor Farm with a free hour-long bird walk beginning at 8:30 a.m. At 9 a.m., the Farmer’s Market opens with more than 20 local farmers and vendors. There will also be yoga at 9 a.m. and live music from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
