1st Friday Night Fireworks in New Hope

When: Friday, July 5 at 9:30 p.m.
Where: the stretch of the Delaware River between New Hope and Lambertville

Visit New Hope and Lambertville on the 1st Fridays of each month for a dazzling nighttime display as well as arts, crafts, live music, and entertainment. This location provides a breathtaking backdrop to the fireworks and the opportunity to catch them all summer long.

Fireworks Friday Party at Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn

When: Friday, July 5 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Where: Lambertville Station Inn – Riverside Room, 11 Bridge Street, Lambertville

Join the party at the Station for the best view of the fireworks! There will be live music performed by Phase 3. Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door and include two drinks. Call Jackie (Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) at 609-397-8300 ext 500 for reservations.

South Pacific at Music Mountain Theatre

When: Friday, July 5 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, July 6 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday, July 7 at 3 p.m.
Where: 1483 Route 179, Lambertville

Set against the dramatic background of an idyllic South Pacific island during WWII, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific intertwines the themes of romance, duty, and prejudice to create a story that is all at once hilarious, heartbreaking, and thought-provoking. Based on the anecdotes of a real-life U.S. Navy commander who was stationed on an island, the musical follows two intercultural love stories. Get tickets here.

High Bridge Summer Concert Series

When: Saturday, July 6 at 6 p.m.
Where: The Commons Stage, 97 West Main Street, High Bridge, NJ

Free concert that’s part of a series hosted by High Bridge Borough on the first Saturday night during summer months. Bring chairs or blankets.

Hot Rods and Harleys

When: Saturday, July 6 at 2 p.m.
Where: Artie’s Bar and Grill, 1121 Route 12, Frenchtown

American Graffitti meets Easy Rider during this holiday weekend event at Frenchtown’s beach bar and grill. The event will include prizes and live music. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Farmstead Cookout

When: Saturday, July 6 at 11:30 a.m.
Where: Black River Western Railroad, Stangle Road and Route 12, Flemington

Catch the train at Flemington, then hop off at the Farmstead of Ringoes for a picnic meal. After your meal, play some lawn games, then get back on the train whenever you’re ready. Meal includes 2 hot dogs or 1 hamburger or cheeseburger with a side of corn, baked beans, chips and a selection of soft drinks and water. Cost is $30 per person ages 12 and above, $18 for kids 3-11. Chirp Workshop Grand Re-Opening & 2nd Birthday Bash

When: Sunday, July 7 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 26 Fulper Road, Flemington

Chirp Workshop (our 2019 Hunterdon Happening List Winner for Children’s Party) is celebrating the opening of their new larger location! There will a magic show at 1:30 p.m., balloon animals, temporary tattoos, raffles, balloons and cake. Tickets are $20 per child. (Under 1 is free.)
