Mermaid at Music Mountain Theatre

When: Friday and Saturday, July 26 and July 27 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Where: 1483 RT 179, Lambertville

See The Little Mermaid in an all-new way. This family-friendly show is based on “The Little Mermaid” by Hans Christian Anderson. (Note: This is NOT the Disney version.) Tickets are $8 and can be purchased here.

QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning

When: Friday, July 26 from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, July 27 from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, July 28 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Solberg Airport, 39 Thor-Solberg Road, Readington

Held annually at Solberg Airport in Readington, New Jersey’s largest balloon festival offers twice daily mass ascensions of up to 100 special shape and sport hot air balloons, headlining concerts, hundreds of crafters and vendors, great food, fireworks, a balloon glow, and more. Ceremonials: A day of clean beauty rituals curated by Zanya Spa Salon

When: Friday, July 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: 287 S. Main Street, Lambertville

Celebrate the launch of makeup line Rituel de Fille at Zanya Spa Salon. This spell-binding makeup line is a new vision for beauty inspired by the magical side of natural ingredients, where pigment is elemental, ceremonial and powerful. In addition to bewitching makeup sessions, the event will feature mini facial rituals, cosmic tonics, and potions at Zanya’s CBD and Chill Bar, therapeutic hand treatments, and tarot card readings.

Summer Artisan Market

When: Saturday, July 27 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, July 28 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Unionville Vineyards, 9 Rocktown Road, Ringoes

Visit Unionville for a weekend of delicious foods, wine, art, and handcrafted artisan products from a broad array of vendors. Live music and Ms. Fu’s Yummy Food Truck will round out the two day event. Wine is available by the glass, bottle, or case. Admission is free. Tastings are $10.

Nature Meditation Tour at Hunterdon County Parks

When: Sunday, July 28 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Where: Miquin Woods Preserve, 326 Newport Road, Glen Gardner (Lebanon Township)

This is the second session in a new bi-weekly summer nature series. Reconnect to the beauty of nature and to your own inner peace during this exploration of parks in the northern section of Hunterdon County. Each session includes a silent hike with pauses for guided mediation along the way. Bring a towel or mat to sit on. This guided tour is led by Lisa Perry and costs $16 per session. Each week will meet at a different park. (Teens and adults only.)
