Flemington Winter Weekend – Get Hygge with It!

When: January 24 through January 26
Where: Throughout downtown Flemington

Get Hygge with It! (pronounced HOO-GA) Hygge is a Danish concept of contentment, and joy in the simple things in life. Hygge evokes warmth, coziness, relaxation, knits, mittens, chunky sweaters, candle light, and relaxation. Join us for cozy fun, warm drinks, games, art projects, and more at the the first “Get Hygge with It” Flemington Winter Weekend from Jan 24-26th.  Stop by Social Norm, Hygee Headquarters for a warm drink, to play game and to pick up a complete list of all happenings. Winter Artisan Market at Unionville Vineyards

When: Saturday and Sunday, January 25-26 from noon to 5 p.m.
Where: 9 Rocktown Road, Ringoes

Visit Unionville for a weekend of artisan crafts, gourmet food products, live music, and delicious wine! Matt Runciman performs acoustic originals and covers on both Saturday and Sunday 1-4pm. Ms. Fu’s Yummy Asian Food Truck will be present both days serving up delicious classic & new dishes of Japanese, Thai, Chinese, & American flavor. Twenty vendors will sell cheeses, pickled foods, hand-knitted clothing, ceramics, pet collars and leashes, jewelry, decor items, soaps, botanicals, and much more. There’s no cost to attend, tastings are $10.

12th Annual Town of Clinton Bonfire

When: Saturday, January 25 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Hunts Mill Park, Haver Farm Road, Clinton

Bring the whole family out for this free community event! There will be horse & carriage rides, hot chocolate, cookies, music, marshmallow roasting, and the main event – a spectacular bonfire! If possible, bring a canned food for the Open Cupboard Food Pantry. (Rescheduled from last week!)

3rd Annual Kazoo-Along

When: Sunday, January 26 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Where: The Birdhouse Center of the Arts, 7 Main Street, Lambertville

To celebrate National Kazoo Day (yep, it’s a thing!), The Birdhouse Center of the Arts is hosting its 3rd annual kazoo-along! It’s a cross between a sing-along and an open mic, but all done with kazoos! Come and listen, or come ready to impress with your kazoo skills! There will be prizes for best kazooing and trivia. Bring your own kazoo if you have one.
