Tot Walks at Echo Hill

When: Friday, January 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. to noon
Where: 42 Lilac Drive, Flemington

Join Senior Park Naturalist Laura Bush on these early adventures to discover nature at your local park! Leave the strollers behind as children are encouraged to take a walk outside to see plants and animals around us. They will use their senses to focus on the theme of “Animal Tracks.” The one-hour program will include a walk and indoor time with a story and craft. This class is for children ages 2 and 3. It costs $3 per child, accompanying adult is free. Register here.

Family NERF Night at Hunterdon County YMCA

When: Friday, January 17 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 114 W. Woodschurch Road, Flemington

Bring the whole family for a night of NERF fun! Bring your own gear, or borrow the YMCA equipment. There will be a course in the gym for games of NERF tag and challenges. Spaces are limited, so reserve your spot here. All attendees must register, and at least one adult must participate with children during the event. This event is $12 per person for Non-Members, $9 for Program Members and $7 for Family Full Members.

Friday Night DJ Skate at Flemington Ice Arena

When: Friday, January 17 from 7:45 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: 426 Case Boulevard, Flemington

If your kids love the movie Frozen, but they’re not quite ready to see it on Broadway … bring them to Music Mountain Theatre! Tickets are $8, and can be purchased here. This Saturday is the last day for this show!

Family Matinee at Hopewell Theater: Shrek

When: Saturday, January 18 from noon to 2 p.m.

12th Annual Town of Clinton Bonfire

When: Saturday, January 18 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Hunts Mill Park, Haver Farm Road, Clinton

Bring the whole family out for this free community event! There will be horse & carriage rides, hot chocolate, cookies, music, marshmallow roasting, and the main event – a spectacular bonfire! If possible, bring a canned food for the Open Cupboard Food Pantry.

Hunterdon Land Trust Winter Farmers’ Market

When: Sunday, January 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Dvoor Farm, 111 Mine Street, Flemington

Photo Walk in Downtown Flemington

When: Sunday, January 19 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Social Norm, 52 Main Street, Flemington

Join local photographer Dave Norton on a photo walk. You will explore Main Street and create images that tell a story of Downtown Flemington. Dave will be giving you hands-on guidance and photo tips while shooting with your camera or smartphone. This class is free, open to everyone and intended for beginner to intermediate photographers.
