Beauty and the Beast at Music Mountain Theatre

When: Saturday, February 9 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Music Mountain Theatre, 1483 RT 179, Lambertville

Music Mountain Theatre brings the classic tale of Belle and the Beast to the stage with an hour-long kid-friendly show. Tickets are $8. Purchase here.

Kids Valentine Paint-A-Long

When: Saturday, February 9 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Where: Gone Paintin’, 14 Commerce Street, Flemington

Drop the kids off or stay and help them paint a cute canvas design for their Valentine. Kids choice. All ages are welcome. Kids 5 and under will need an adult to stay to help. Get more information and register here. This event is $25 per person.

POP-UP Choir at ArtYard

When: Saturday, February 9 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Where: Artyard Theater, 62a Trenton Avenue, Frenchtown

Love to sing? Grab some friends and join Director Kira Willey for a Pop-Up Choir event at Artyard Theater. Over the course of the evening, Kira will teach the group a simply and fun arrangement of a familiar tune. The final performance (all done that night) will be recorded and shared. Anyone over the age of 12 is welcome. No choir experience is necessary. This is a free event, but attendees are asked to donate to the evening’s chosen cause. This time, “THAT” (The Hunterdon ArtTour) will be the beneficiary of the donations collected. Register here.

HAM It Up! Family Day at Hunterdon Art Museum

When: Sunday, February 10 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: 7 Lower Center Street, Clinton

Spend some quality family time creating cool art projects at the Hunterdon Art Museum’s sixth annual free community day. No advanced registration is necessary. For more information, click here.

Pottery in the Woods: Ceramic Garden Stepping Stone

Date: Sunday, February 10 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Hunterdon County Arboretum, 1020 NJ-31, Lebanon

This new series fuses both nature and ceramics. Take a leisurely walk through nature to collect inspiration, and then head to the classroom to make your clay project. Learn how to carve, etch, and sgraffito as you utilize all elements of clay to create a beautiful stepping stone fit for any garden! Participants will focus on various decorative techniques to form one-of-a-kind impressions on their pieces. Bring a sketchbook, writing utensil, and feel free to bring nature treasures to use. No experience necessary. Open to ages 6 through adult. (Children ages 6 through 12 must be accompanied by an adult.) Call (908) 782-1158 to register.
