Fire & Ice Winter Madness Festival

When: Saturday, February 2 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Where: Lebanon Township Memorial Park, 70 Bunnvale Road, Califon

Just because the temperatures have dropped doesn’t mean you have to hibernate all winter! The Lebanon Township Recreation Commission, Friends of Memorial Park and the Lebanon Township Volunteer Fire Department have teamed up to make the cold and snow a lot more bearable. Come hang out with friends and neighbors around the bonfire, bring your tailgating supplies and set up around the fire as early as 4pm. Grab something tasty from the food trucks (Empanada Guy and Chick Wings & Things LLC Food Truck Catering) and we’ll have free s’mores and hot beverages to warm you up. LTVFD will light the blaze at 5pm. Watch Bob “The Iceman” carve three 300lb blocks of ice. He’ll be looking for input from all the kids as to what he should create. If there’s snow on the ground, bring your sleds and if the pond is frozen, plan on ice skating!
