Roxey Ballet Presents “The Nutcracker”

When: Thursday, December 5 at 10 a.m.; Saturday, December 7 at 2 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 8 at 2 p.m.
Where: The College of New Jersey’s Kendall Main Stage Theater, 2000 Pennington Road, Ewing

Roxey Ballet will present its 25th annual performance of Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker.” This year’s cast features recognized community leaders performing alongside the company’s roster of world-class artists. Santa will deliver gifts right to your house riding on a fire truck! Bring a wrapped gift (1 per child) to High Bridge Fire Department, and Santa will bring it to your home the following day. Free Whitehouse Wind Symphony Holiday Concerts

When: Friday, Dec. 6, 7:30 p.m.
Where: Whitehouse United Methodist Church, 73 Route 28, Whitehouse Station

When: Sunday, Dec. 8,  3 p.m.
Where: The Historic Hunterdon County Courthouse, 75 Main Street, Flemington

Concertgoers will enjoy the band’s arrangements of classic Christmas carols such as “Good King Wenceslas,” “Hark The Herald Angels Sing,” “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,”  and “Oh Come, All Ye Faithful.”  The band will also play holiday favorites such as “Jingle Bells,” “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” and “Frosty the Snowman.” Children will be invited to ring sleigh bells as the band plays “Sleigh Ride.”  Audience members will also have the opportunity to sing along.

2019 Clinton Christmas Parade

When: Friday, December 6 from 7 p.m.-10 p.m.
Where: Main Street, Clinton

The 33rd Annual Clinton Christmas Parade begins at 7 p.m.

Califon Holiday Crafts and Vendor

When: Saturday,  December 7 from 9:30 a.m.-2:30  p.m.

Christmas on the Farm at Howell Living History Farm

When: Saturday, December 7 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Where: Howell Living History Farm, 70 Woodens Lane, Lambertville, NJ

Listen to the jingle bells ring when the horses are hitched up for the morning trip to the woodlot, where visitors can help find the perfect tree for Howell Farm’s Christmas celebration. Stick around to greet St. Nick when he arrives to listen to the children’s Christmas wishes! In addition, families can participate in farmhouse tours, live music, wagon rides, and a children’s craft program. Pop by the Visitor Center for lunch, a gift shop, and a 2-seater sleigh perfect for taking family portraits. Parking & admission are free.

Califon Holiday Crafts and Vendor Fair

When: Saturday, Dec. 7 from  9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: Califon Fire Company, 41 Main Street, Califon

Grab that perfect holiday gift at this annual event that benefits the Dan Handy Memorial. Raffle items donated by crafters and vendors. Homemade baked goods also available. Event is free to get in.

DRMS Holiday Fine Crafts and Art Show

Annual fine craft and art show featuring artisans from New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Cost $5.

Christmas Craft Market at Flemington United Methodist Church

When: Saturday, December 7 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Where: 116 Main Street, Flemington

This annual Christmas craft market features only handcrafted items. In addition, there will be homemade soups and baked goods for sale (dine in or carry out) and a silent auction.

A Charlie Brown Christmas at Music Mountain Theatre

 When: Saturday, December 7 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Where: 1482 Route 179, Lambertville

The classic animated television special comes to life in this faithful stage adaptation. Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and the whole Peanuts gang as they produce their own Christmas play, and ultimately learn the true meaning of the season. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased here.

Gift of Art Holiday Show

Santa at Schaefer Farms

Santa arrives by boat at 2 p.m. Stay for the tree lighting at 5:30 p.m.

Lambertville Tree Lighting

When: Saturday, December 7 at 4 p.m.
Where: Kline’s Court, Lambertville

Festivities will include a visit from Santa, tree lighting, live music, refreshments, and a screening of the Muppet Christmas Carol at 5:30 at the ACME.

Cookies and Cocoa with Santa

When: Saturday, Dec. 7, 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
Where: Glen Gardner Fire Co. No. 1, 2168 Route 31, Glen Gardner

Santa will arrive at 6 p.m. to enjoy cookies and hot cocoa.  Enjoy crafts, music and more. If you can’t make Santa’s visit, join the cookie walk and holiday bake sale at the firehouse on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 10 a.m.-4p.m. Proceeds benefit Dan Hardy Memorial.

Musical Celebration of Christmas Hosted by Riverside Symphonia
