1st Friday Night Fireworks

Where: Over the Delaware River River Road in New Hope

New Hope & Lambertville will host the kickoff to its 3rd season of Friday Night Fireworks, happening on the 1st Fridays of each month.  This dazzling event, put on by the Delaware River Towns Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau enchants viewers as they watch and express their delight in the universal fireworks language of “Ooohh…..ahhhhh.”

Revolutionary 10K Run & 5K Fitness Run/Walk

Washington Crossing Park

The 37th Annual Revolutionary Run to be held in historic Washington Crossing Park, Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Proceeds from this event are used for:

  • ​Township emergency services
  • College scholarships
  • Community events through UMBA

Old-Fashioned Community Picnic
July 2, 2017 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Washington Crossing Historical Park – 1112 River Road Washington Crossing, PA

Join us for an Old-Fashioned Community Picnic starting at 6 PM. Attendees are invited to bring their own dinner, picnic supplies and lawn games. Prizes will be awarded for Most Creative Picnic Display, Most Delectable Menu, and Best in Show.

At 8 PM, Broad Street Brass will hold a free concert featuring patriotic music and other selections. The day will end with a spectacular firework’s show at 9 PM. All activities will be held in the large field across River Road and diagonal to the park’s Visitor Center.

Bedminster Independence Day Celebration

Purchase a Flag For The Field of Honor®!
The Friends of the Jacobus Vanderveer House & Museum are hosting the 2nd annual Field of Honor® at River Road Park in Bedminster to celebrate our great nation, pay tribute to the service men and women who have preserved our freedom, and honor loved ones.

Over 200 American flags will be available for adoption and displayed in the North Field of River Road Park in Bedminster beginning Sunday, June 25th through Tuesday, July 4th.

Flags can be purchased for $40 at Bedminster Town Hall, or for $45 online at http://bit.ly/2s2cH0u or visit www.healingfield.org/bedminster17/. Each flag will be identified with your personal sentiment. Flags may be picked up on Wednesday July 5 after 4 pm.

Flemington-Rariton Fireworks

The Flemington-Raritan Parks and Recreation Committee will be sponsoring 2017 Fireworks on Monday, July 3rd. A DJ will provide music beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Upper Parking Lot of RFIS on Court Street. The fireworks will begin at 9 p.m. In case of rain the fireworks will be on Wednesday, July 5th.

Food will be available for purchase and a Revolutionary War encampment will re-create life during the 1770’s.  Park visitors should bring lawn chairs or blankets while they enjoy time in the park before the Independence Day fireworks begin.  Picnic baskets are also allowed, but alcohol is prohibited.
