The biggest event of the summertime is just around the corner- July 4th! Celebrate America’s independence at these fantastic July 4th events happening in Hunterdon County:

Flemington Car Show
June 27th 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Flemington Main Street, Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822 
The Flemington Car Shows are back for the summer on Main Street in Flemington, New Jersey. The shows will start on Saturday, May 30, 2015 and continue all summer long and into the early fall. The shows are held every other Saturday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. On the 30th the featured car will be Fords and the best Ford will get a trophy and a prize. There will be live music and/or DJ’s for the Saturday shows. Get more information here.

Califon Fireman’s Carnival
June 29th from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Califon Municipal Building, 62 Academy St., Califon, NJ 07830
The Califon Fireman’s Carnival will open on Monday, June 29 and run through Saturday, July 4, 2015. The fireworks finale is on Wednesday July 1, and Friday July 3, 2015 The carnival is staged at the carnival grounds behind the Califon Municipal Building at 39 Academy Street. The event features: a carousel, a ferris wheel, games, food and fireworks on Wednesday, July 1 and Friday, July 3, 2015.

Lebanon Parade
July 4th at 9:30 am

Lebanon Parade Lebanon Borough will host their 68th Annual 4th of July Parade on Saturday, July 4, 2015. The children’s parade starts at 9:30 at Sutton Place and the main parade will kick off at 10:00 a.m. on Main Street. The theme for the 2015 parade is “Lebanon Cares – Environment – People – Community.” There will be awards for: Most Patriotic, Best Theme Representation. The parade will feature Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Indian Guides, firetrucks, color guards, costumed characters, EMS vehicles, and more.

NJ CityFest
July 5th from 3:30 pm to 10:00 pm
South Ridge Community Church, 7 Pittstown Road, Clinton, NJ 
NJ CityFest A special event is coming to Clinton on Sunday, July 5. South Ridge Community Church will host an outdoor statewide outreach event called NJ CityFest. The festival spreads the Word of Christ and celebrates the good deeds of the church in the Garden State. It takes place from 4:00-10:00 p.m., with the gates opening at 3:30 p.m. The event includes a Kids Zone with balloons, face painting, and games, as well as a BMX/Skate Show. A concert from 6:00-9:30 p.m.

Lambertville-New Hope Fireworks
July 10th 9:00 pm – 9:30 pm
Lambertville, 24 North Union St., Lambertville, NJ 08530 
The Greater-Lambertville-New Hope Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that it is bringing back the fireworks displays. This free fireworks series lights up the sky in Lambertville and its Bucks County neighbor New Hope. Many of the shops and restaurants extend their hours on the firework evenings. Garden State Fireworks will be presenting the shows.
