Festivities will close on Sunday, September 9th with a special performance by the iconic rock band The ORCHESTRA Starring Former Members of Electric Light Orchestra.

The 2nd Annual Rivertown Film Festival, an award-winning event that celebrates emerging filmmakers and community through film, is set to kick-off Friday, September 7, through 9, 2018 at the historic Red Mill in Clinton, New Jersey. This festival, which attracts extraordinary talent from around the globe, makes a memorable weekend getaway for film lovers. Like last year, there will be amazing parties and dinners to attend during this three-day event, plus attendees will enjoy a closing award ceremony, and, THE ORCHESTRA Starring ELO Former Members, will close out the festival with an AWE-some rock concert.

Besides the amazing films to watch, filmmakers and directors will have the opportunity to network with some of Hollywood’s mega producers, top executives at some of the biggest production companies, and film distributors and sales agents. This award-winning event that is taking place at an award-winning historic site within an award-winning town–is a film festival that people in the industry don’t want to miss.

The River Town Film Town recruited a nationally recognized panel of distinguished film industry professionals to review selected submissions and determine the 2018 award winners. They include Ernest Thompson (Oscar-winning screenwriter of ON GOLDEN POND); Executive Producer Marc Rosen (SENSE8); Producer Hunt Lowry (THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS; DIVINE SECRETS OF THE YA YA SISTERHOOD; FIRST KNIGHT); Lynne Litt (TV writer of LOST, LAW & ORDER, NCIS New Orleans, THE PRACTICE and many more); Virginia Longmuir (EVP of RatPac Entertainment); Marc Reid (CFO of Lakeshore Entertainment); Lauren Williams (partner in Global Media Fusion, a global distribution and syndication company); and Producer, Director, Actor and Composer Allan Nichols (DEAD MAN WALKING, THE PLAYER, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE).

The River Town Film Festival team is presently looking for volunteers to help them throughout the weekend. Also, there is still time to support this 501(c)(3) non-profit company via sponsorship opportunities and donations.

Located only one hour from New York City and an hour-and-a-half from Philadelphia, Clinton is a great destination to enjoy for the day—or for an extended stay. Those living in the region will find that this quaint Hunterdon County town is a short drive from Bucks, Warren Somerset, and Mercer Counties, as well as the Lehigh Valley.
