JT Rooney Live @The Flemington Car Show – Mustang Night – 2017

As the flowers begin to bloom in Hunterdon’s historic county seat, Flemington is blossoming as well, celebrating the season with an action-packed SpringFest calendar designed to spotlight the borough as a newly revitalized “destination town.”

“Flemington is regional hub for a host of creative, fun and exciting activities this spring – from concerts with nationally known musicians to classic car shows, farmers markets, art open houses and bicycle tours, as well as an award-winning craft brewery, fine dining and shopping,” said the Flemington Community Partnership’s Executive Director, Ann Meredith. “We invite everyone to explore Flemington and discover why so many people love our special town.”

After kicking off the calendar with Restaurant Week in April, entertainment will continue as musicians are lined up to entertain Friday and Saturday nights at Flemington’s Filling Station. The Filling station is a borough-owned gas station that was converted to a beer garden, and at open mic nights at Factory Fuel Co. on Thursdays.

The street music continues at the ever-popular classic car shows, held biweekly beginning May 26, with kids’ activities and shopping that attract people of all ages. Another favorite among families are the farmers markets on Saturdays and Sundays, starting in May.

Lastly, the Flemington DIY, a former bank, is home to a variety of ongoing classes and clubs, including tai chi and tap dancing on Saturdays and fiber arts and printmaking Mondays.
